KNOWLE hope to return to winning ways this weekend ahead of a top-of-the-table clash against Birmingham United.

The Robins dropped points for just the second time this season following a goalless draw with high-flying Northfield Town last time out.

And Knowle welcome second-placed Birmingham to the Draintech Community Stadium this weekend with the Robins two points clear at the Midland Football League Division Two table.

United have lost just once in the league this season and head into the fixture unbeaten in their last 12 matches in all competitions.

Robins joint manager, Clive Seeley, said: “I’m not surprised that Birmingham United are challenging for honours this season, given their personnel.

“They are a good side, and we will give them every respect.”

The clubhouse at the Draintech Community Stadium will be open all afternoon for alcoholic, hot and cold drinks and snacks.

Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

Knowle host Birmingham on Saturday, November 2 with kick-off at 2pm at the Draintech Community Stadium.
