KNOWLE FC manager Clive Seeley hopes his side can exact revenge when the Robins travel to Alcester Town this weekend.

The Solihull club have lost their last two league matches and sit third in the Midland Football League Division Two table.

Defeats to Fairfield Villa and local rivals Hampton have left the Robins seven points adrift of league leaders Cadbury Athletic.

And Knowle’s only other defeat this season came at the hands of Alcester when they were beaten 1-0 at home back in August.

Seeley said: “We are looking forward to a competitive and evenly matched game. Our aim will be to reverse the result when Alcester visited Hampton Road and secured a 1-0 victory.”

Their opponents Alcester have lost their last three matches and sit seventh in the table having taken 23 points from their 18 matches.

The Robins will be without Callum Regan as a precaution for this weekend’s clash after he suffered a head injury against Hampton.

Entrance is £3 for adults, £2 for concessions and free for under-16’s.

Knowle’s match with Alcester takes place on Saturday, January 22 with kick-off at 2pm at Stratford Road.
