KNOWLE continued their scintillating form with an impressive 5-0 win away at Bolehall Swufts.
Goals from Hayden Purves and Joe Drake-Cervantes put the Robins in command before substitutes Callum Burston-Keeley, George Seeley and Nathan Corry all found the net at Rene Road.
The result means Knowle lead the Midland Football League Division Two table by three points from closest challengers Northfield Town and joint-boss Clive Seeley insists the Robins are taking nothing for granted following their fine start to the season.
Seeley said: “We said we’ve got three difficult games coming up before the game and we were purring in the first half, we were really dominant.
“Our defence was really good, our goal difference is insane, it was comfortable in the end, once the third went in it was really good.
“There’s no gimme’s in this division, we’re just in fine form at the moment, we’re taking nothing for granted and taking every game as it comes.”
Knowle broke the deadlock when Purves blasted home from 20-yards out before Drake-Cervantes headed in Zak Parsons’ corner from the right at the back post to double the away side’s lead.
And the Robins struck again after the break when substitute Burston-Keeley scored just 10 minutes after coming off the bench.
Fellow sub Seeley extended Knowle’s lead before yet another substitute – Corry – completed the scoring at the death.
Knowle are next in action against Coventrians on Saturday, October 19 with kick-off at 3pm at the Colliery Sports Ground.
