FOOTBALL - Earlswood Town's three-game unbeaten run ended by Inkberrow

EARLSWOOD TOWN saw their three-game unbeaten run come to an end after suffering a 3-0 defeat at home to Inkberrow.

Harry Kean struck either side of half-time before Jay Higgins-Pugsley completed the win with a third goal past the hour mark.

And the result means Earlswood sit ninth in the Midland Football League Division Two table, seven points clear of bottom side Barnt Green Spartak.

The Earls were outplayed and outfought for the majority of the first half before Kean slotted home shortly before the interval.

And Kean doubled his tally after the break with a low strike into the bottom corner past Earls goalkeeper Alastair Lewis.

Inkberrow made sure of the points when Higgins-Pugsley found the net from the edge of the penalty area to put the final nail in the Earls coffin.

Earlswood are next in action against Barnt Green Spartak on Saturday, February 19 with kick-off at 3pm at The Pavilions.
