EARLSWOOD Town suffered a late 4-2 defeat against Coventry Alvis following a thrilling 3-3 draw with Central Ajax.
The Earls came from two goals down in both matches to draw level as Harry Street and substitute Elliot Kelleher found the net against Alvis at Green Lane.
And Earlswood also recovered from a two-goal deficit against Central Ajax at The Pavilions as Harry Dixon scored a hat-trick to ensure the Earls came away with a point.
The results mean the Earls sit 13th in the Midland Football League Division Two table.
Against Coventry, Alvis scored a quickfire double to take command of the game as Daniel Monger smashed home from close range before Jagit Aujila rounded Alfie Pyott moments later.
However, the Earls halved the deficit on 36 minutes when Street tapped home Joe Kelso’s cross from the right.
And the visitors drew level at the start of the second half as substitute Kelleher made an immediate impact as he drifted into the box and drilled a shot past the goalkeeper at his near post to score his first goal for the club.
However, as the Earls searched for a winner, Alvis reclaimed the lead on 73 minutes when former Earl Joe Wright finished from a corner and Luiz Hysa scored deep into injury time.
That came after Earlswood rescued a point against Central Ajax thanks to Dixon’s injury time heroics.
Ajax raced into a two-goal lead courtesy of strikes from Freddy Murphy and Shaye Eden only for Dixon’s tidy finish to quickly reduce the deficit.
And the Earls drew level after the break when Dixon latched onto Callum Tranter’s through ball and found the net.
The visitors took the lead again on 78 minutes as Gordy Lewis looked to have scored the winner.
However, Dixon’s hopeful free-kick from the left evaded everybody in the box and nestled in the corner in the second minute of injury time to earn the Earls a point.
Earlswood are next in action against Lane Head on Saturday, August 31 with kick-off at 3pm at The Pavilions.
