EARLSWOOD Town returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory against Coventry Alvis in the club’s first league game for almost three months.
Substitute Abdoullah Kchikech broke the deadlock on 75 minutes before Sam Delaney added a late second for the Earls at the Pavilions.
And the result means Earlswood sit sixth in the Midland Football League Division Two table.
The Earls returned to league action for the first time this year with the club’s most recent MFL Division Two fixture coming back on December 27.
Earlswood eventually took the lead 15 minutes from time when Kchikech stabbed home from close range after Delaney flicked on a corner.
And Delaney doubled the home side’s lead on 83 minutes as the defender scored his first goal for the club with a header at a corner.
Earlswood are next in action against Inkberrow on Wednesday, March 25 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Sands Road.
