EARLSWOOD Town romped to a 5-0 home win against Coundon Court to advance to the next round of the Coventry Charity Cup.
Goals from Abdoullah Kchikech, Jordan McKenzie, Ollie Parsons, Dan Elwell and Luke Woodward sealed a comfortable win for the Earls at the Pavilions.
The Earls scored four goals in the final quarter-hour to see off the lower-division side.
Earlswood broke the deadlock after just eight minutes as Kchikech powered through the Coundon Court defence to open the scoring from McKenzie’s flick-on.
The Earls eventually doubled their lead on 74 minutes courtesy of McKenzie before Parsons capitalised on a defensive mistake three minutes later.
Substitute Elwell finished on the half-volley on 79 minutes to extend the home side’s lead before Woodward completed the scoring with a low drive via the aid of the post.
Earlswood are next in action against Glades A in the Saturday Vase on Saturday, November 15 with kick-off at 2pm at Glades Football Centre.
