EARLSWOOD Town stretched their unbeaten run to nine matches in all competitions following a 1-1 draw against 10-man Boldmere Sports and Social Falcons.
An early goal from debutant Daniel Barnes put the Earls ahead before Boldmere’s Shaun Reid saw red for violent conduct on the stroke of half time.
However, Tyler Wilson equalised for the visitors with Earlswood unable to make the man advantage count at The Pavilions.
The result means Earlswood sit third in the Midland Football League Division Two table, level on points with leaders Cadbury Athletic and Northfield Town.
Barnes enjoyed a dream start on debut when he opened the scoring after just five minutes with a shot which squirmed into the net.
And Ollie Tomlins almost doubled Earlswood’s lead as his half-volley went over the crossbar from close range.
Boldmere then saw Reid sent off for violent conduct shortly before the break.
However, the visitors drew level five minutes after half time as Wilson beat Scott Cashmore in the home goal.
Earlswood are next in action against AFC Solihull on Saturday, September 20 with kick-off at 3pm at The Pavilions.
