EARLSWOOD Town completed a league double over Central Ajax with 2-0 victory on the club’s return to action.
A first-half penalty from Dan Elwell and Jordan McKenzie strike after the break sealed the points for the Earls at The Pavilions.
The result means Earlswood sit third in the Midland Football League Division Two table as the club matched their win tally from the entirety of last season.
Elwell broke the deadlock on 29 minutes from the penalty spot after McKenzie drew a foul in the box.
And McKenzie doubled the home side’s lead on 61 minutes as he finished a loose ball after good work from Sarjo Sila down the left.
Earlswood are next in action against Paget Rangers on Saturday, October 25 with kick-off at 3pm at Castle Vale.
