EARLSWOOD Town returned to winning ways against Wake Green Amateur following a defeat against Northfield Town.
The Earls triumphed against Wake Green the Holloway courtesy of second-half goals from Ollie Parsons and Jordan McKenzie.
Earlswood broke the deadlock on 18 minutes when Parsons drove a low shot into the net from Moussa Kiota’s pass.
McKenzie doubled the home side’s lead on 59 minutes with a stylish finish via the inside of the post on his return from injury.
And the Earls introduced Lawrence O’Neill from the bench on 81 minutes as he took to the field to join his son Tyler on the pitch.
That came after Earlswood lost 4-0 at leaders Northfield Town as the runaway table toppers scored four second-half goals at Shenley Lane.
Goals from Dean Colstock, Brogan Halpin and Sean McLoughlin and an unfortunate own goal from Kiota condemned the Earls to defeat.
Earlswood are next in action against Lane Head on Saturday, April 11 with kick-off at 3pm at the Pavilions.
