KADE Craig’s second goal in as many games earned Solihull Moors a point in a 1-1 draw with Bromley to extend the club’s unbeaten run to 11 matches.

Craig levelled just before the hour mark after Ben Krauhaus opened the scoring from Bromley at the start of the second period at the ARMCO Arena.

The result means Moors remain second in the National League table, five points behind leaders Chesterfield.

Moors went close to an opener in the first few minutes when Gus Mafuta played in Josh Kelly only for Bromley goalkeeper Grant Smith to tip the ball around the post.

Chances were at a premium in the first half as both teams cancelled each other out with the game goalless at the break.

However, Bromley took the lead on 48 minutes when the ball broke kindly to Krauhaus in the box who blasted a first time effort into the top right corner.

Moors equalised on 58 minutes as Craig fired a shot into the bottom left corner from Joe Newton’s cross from the left.

Andy Whing’s side went closest to a winner when Mark Beck glanced a header wide in the final few minutes.

Solihull travel to Hartlepool United on Tuesday, September 26 with kick-off at 7.45pm at Victoria Park.
