ALICE BELCHER scored four goals as Knowle Ladies eased to a 6-0 win away at Rugby Borough to remain joint-top of the table.
Belcher scored once in the first-half before grabbing a second-half hat-trick with Demi Rolph scoring Knowle’s other two goals.
The result leaves them in second place in the West Midlands Regional Women’s League Division One South table, behind leaders Solihull Sporting Ladies on goal difference.
After fashioning several early chances, Knowle eventually broke the deadlock on 35 minutes when Rolph stabbed the ball home at the second attempt from Morgan Betteridge’s cross.
And Knowle were soon two to the good when Rolph and Belcher played a clever one-two which allowed the latter to open her account for the afternoon with a cool finish from 10-yards out.
The visitors should have extended their lead before the break only for Belcher to see her effort well-saved from Kate Fleming’s cross and Rachel Keen to lift her follow-up over the bar.
Knowle trebled their advantage after the interval when Rolph skipped past two defenders before finding the net from Belcher’s pass.
Belcher then grabbed her second with an excellent header from Emma Shaw’s corner before Rolph returned the favour to set Belcher up for her hat-trick goal with a low strike past the goalkeeper.
And Belcher grabbed her fourth of the game late on when she calmly rolled the ball into the bottom corner from Maz Bryne’s chipped through ball to secure a fourth successive win in the league.
The Robins are next in action away at Rugby Town Women on Sunday, February 6 with kick-off at 2pm at Butlin Road.
