SOLIHULL Moors’ academy graduates starred as Andy Whing’s side eased into the next round of the FA Trophy with a 5-1 win against Nantwich Town.

After Jack Stevens opened the scoring, youngsters Kian Ryley, Morgan Owen, Tyler Bruck and Finn Howell all found the net in the second half at the ARMCO Arena.

Northern Premier League West side Nantwich lost Nathan Okome and Frazer Cookson to red cards in the second period as the visitors finished the game with nine-men.

The draw for the fifth round will take place at around 3.15pm on Monday, January 15 live on talkSPORT2.

Moors broke the deadlock on 26 minutes when Stevens headed home Joe Sbarra’s corner from the right with Nantwich goalkeeper Scott Moloney unable to prevent the ball from crossing the line.

And the Dabbers then had Okome sent off at the start of the second half after the Nantwich defender pulled down Stevens with the Moors man through on goal.

Moors doubled their lead on 56 minutes as Ryley intercepted a loose ball before calmly finding the bottom left corner from inside the box.

And the home side sealed their place in the next round on 66 minutes when Owen powered a first time effort into the left corner of the goal from Ryley’s pass.

Moors extended their lead on 81 minutes as substitute Bruck headed in Ryley’s floated cross from the right to score his first goal of the season.

Nantwich scored a consolation goal two minutes later as Paddy Kay curled a delightful effort over Moors goalkeeper Nick Hayes from 20-yards out.

However, the visitors finished the game with nine-men after Cookson saw red for a strong challenge on Gus Mafuta.

And Moors completed the scoring in injury time as Howell coolly found the net from Stevens’ pass.

Solihull are next in action away at Halifax Town on Tuesday, January 16 with kick-off at 7.45pm at The Shay.
