THE rebranded Warwickshire Bears will begin the 2026 T20 Blast season with a trip to Gloucestershire while the club’s women’s side travel to Essex.

Warwickshire’s men head to Gloucestershire on May 22 with the women’s side to play Essex on the same day.

And both Warwickshire teams play at Edgbaston for the first time in 2026, in the first of five double-headers over the course of the season, on May 24 against Somerset.

The men’s team then play local rivals Worcestershire Rapids at New Road (May 29) in the first derby clash of the campaign.

Warwickshire host Northamptonshire Steelbacks (May 31) before facing successive away trips at Notts Outlaws (June 5) and Somerset (June 7).

The Bears play the Pears in the reverse derby fixture later in the month (June 26) and then host Sussex Sharks (July 1).

Warwickshire then travel to Glamorgan (July 3) before hosting opening day opponents Gloucestershire (July 5) and play Glamorgan again (July 10) in their final home game of the group stage.

The Bears finish the group stage with a trip to Northants (July 12) while Finals Day will take place once again at Warwickshire’s Edgbaston home.

Bears Women continue their season against The Blaze (May 27) and then face three successive away fixtures against Durham (May 29), Blaze (June 5) and Somerset (June 7).

Warwickshire then host Surrey (June 26) in a repeat of last year’s final before travelling to Lancashire Lightning (June 28).

The Bears host Essex (July 1) and Yorkshire (July 5) in successive home games before travelling to Surrey (July 8) and ending the group stage with a home fixture against Hampshire Hawks (July 10).

The T20 Blast women’s Finals Day takes place at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on July 12.

County Championship

Warwickshire begin their County Championship campaign against Surrey with the county hoping to improve on last season’s fifth-place finish in Division One.

The Bears host Surrey (April 3) and then travel to Sussex (April 10) before returning to Edgbaston to entertain Essex (April 17).

Warwickshire close out the first month of the campaign with a trip to reigning champions Nottinghamshire (April 24).

The Bears play in successive home matches in May against Yorkshire (May 8) and Glamorgan (May 15) respectively.

Warwickshire then make trips to Yorkshire (June 12) and Somerset (June 19).

Back-to-back home matches follow against Sussex (August 20) and Nottinghamshire (August 27).

The Bears face three consecutive road trips in the final month of the season at Hampshire (September 2), Glamorgan (September 8) and Essex (September 15).

And Warwickshire finish the campaign with a home game against Leicestershire (September 24).

One-Day Cup

Warwickshire will again return to Rugby School in the One-Day Cup for three home matches in August.

The Bears begin the One-Day tournament at Northants (July 21) and then travel to Notts Outlaws (July 23).

Warwickshire make the trip to Somerset (July 26) and then host Surrey at Edgbaston (July 29).

The Bears entertain Gloucestershire at Rugby School the following month (August 2) and then travel to Leicestershire Foxes (August 7).

Warwickshire close the group stage with successive games in Rugby against Lancashire (August 9) and Kent Spitfires (August 11).

The top team in each group progresses directly to a home semi-final with the second and third-placed teams to meet in a quarter-final.

And the final will take place at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

Elsewhere, Bears Women face a packed One-Day Cup schedule which begins with a home game against Surrey (April 11) and ends away at Durham (September 12).
