BREAKING: Richard Money resigns as Solihull Moors manager

FOOTBALL: RICHARD Money has resigned as Solihull Moors first team manager.

Money, who took charge of the Moors just 26 days ago, resigns with immediate effect.

Assistant manager Gary Whild will take during of the Moors for this Sunday’s home FA Cup game against Wycombe Wanderers. He will be joined by coach Keith Bertschin and director of sport Mark Fogarty.

The club admitted it was ‘disappointed’ that Money’s time in charge has ended so soon. Moors will commence the search for a replacement immediately.

Richard Money said: “There are so many people at this club who have worked hard to get it to the level it is playing at right now and it deserves to stay there.

“To do so it needs someone who can fully commit to the club’s future and unfortunately I am unable to do that right now.

“I wish everyone, board, players and supporters every success and thank them for their help, kindness and understanding.”
