SOLIHULL Indoor Bowls Club are celebrating the achievements of current member and world number one Emily Kernick.
Kernick is currently ranked number one in the women’s World Bowls Series rankings.
The 26-year-old has been a member at Solihull Indoor Bowls Club for six years.
And Kernick has just been named on the longlist for Bowls England’s 2026 Commonwealth Games squad.
She recently won the World Bowls Indoor Championships mixed pairs title in Aberdeen, Scotland alongside Dominic McVittie.
Kernick also claimed silver in the singles event. She won the fours event at the British Championships in Llandrindod Wells earlier this year.
The club are the only indoor bowls club in Solihull and are located on Widney Lane.
Solihull have an eight-rink bowling hall which has recently been refurbished.
Two of the club’s teams reached national semi-finals last year.
The men’s team won the national singles title last year while the women’s team claimed the fours and pairs crowns.
Solihull currently have around 400 members with the club seeking new players to join.
