Registrations are also available on the day by cash or card however, by entering online participants have an increased chance of being able to use roller-skis and boots from a limited pool of equipment.
Biathlon is a combination of two polar opposite sports, cross-country skiing and target shooting.
Cross-country skiing is commonly regarded as one of the most physically demanding sports in the world, in comparison to target shooting which requires precision and calmness.
Participants should wear basic running gear with the BBU to provide everything else.
The BBU will set up a nine-lane laser range using completely eye safe laser rifles which children, adults and even left-handed firers can use.
They also offer roller-skis, boots and poles for those who might like to try out something more akin to the actual real thing.
