TWO teenage boys have been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in a Solihull park.

A 45-year-old man was found with stab injuries on Saturday evening (May 11) and he was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The boys aged 16 and 15 were remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on Tuesday (May 14).

A 35-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.

West Midlands Police said patrols in and around Langley Hall Park will continue this week to offer reassurance to the local community.
