Solihull Toby Carvery pubs join forces in aid of NSPCC

BAR STAFF from pubs across Solihull pulled their football boots on to raise funds for children’s charity, the NSPCC.

Toby Carvery hosted events across the country for the Fund-raising Fortnight, from August 22 to September 4, to accelerate its commitment towards raising £50,000.

Fund-raisers over the course of two weeks included a fancy-dress carwash, live music events and raffles with great prizes.

Toby Carvery pubs in Knowle and Hall Green went head to head against 10 other pubs in the group in a charity 5-a-side football match where the Castle Bromwich pub coming out on top.




And if that’s not enough, the Knowle team took part in a charity bake sale where all teams created delicious bakes alongside a Tombola raffle, raising an additional £444 for the NSPCC.

Toby Carvery Hall Green’s general manager, Dean Baddock, said: “We have lots of fundraising plans in the making which include a charity quiz night and live music event.


“We’d like to thank our lovely guests and local communities for their thoughtful donations and look forward to inviting them to our next fundraisers.”
