Much-loved thespian, Philly Coley, inspires Dovehouse Theatre show

Sarah Mason 2nd Dec, 2021

A TALENTED and much-loved thespian will be remembered in a special show at The Dovehouse Theatre.

Philippa (Philly) Coley was just 24 when she died in 2019 and to honour her love of the stage her former performing arts company, Youth Onstage, have come together in her memory.

The show, Over The Rainbow, focuses on shows Philly performed in or songs with a colour theme as we always associate her with rainbows.

She was with the company for more than 10 years and worked with a number of actors who are now working professionally in the industry.

Some of those have returned to be part of the live shows and others have pre-recorded songs which will be shown via projector screen.

Over The Rainbow will be on Friday, December 3 at 7.30pm and then on Saturday, December 4 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £15 for adults and £13 for concessions by calling Becky on 07903238109.

There will also be a raffle and the proceeds will go to Mind, which was a charity that Philippa supported.
