FUNDS for Cats Protection Birmingham – based in Wythall – have received a boost from two big hearted supporters.

Having lost her very special cat Flora, who was very much a part of the family, Abi and her friend Mabel decided to raise funds for their local Cats Protection Adoption Centre where Flora was adopted from.

The duo got together and decided that 10 laps of the local park over 10 days was the way to go.

In the process they raised a staggering £500 for the adoption centre.

Paula Beswick, deputy manager said “We are amazed at what Abi and Mabel have achieved, their efforts and support are a credit to them and their parents.

“They have helped us to help so many more cats with vet treatments and their stay at the centre whilst looking for new homes.

“We are extremely proud to have such dedicated supporters. Well done girls and thank you.”
