A FIFTH man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Jack Donoghue in Solihull during the early hours of Saturday morning (November 30).
The 21-year-old, who was arrested yesterday (Tuesday 3 December), was taken into police custody, where he remains.
Jack, 21, died in hospital after being stabbed on a night out near Popworld, Solihull, in the early hours of Saturday.
Two men in their early twenties who were charged with murder on Monday, December, appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court yesterday (Tuesday) and were remanded into custody, report West Midlands Police.
Connor Moore, 20, from Weston Road, Lichfield, was charged with murder and violent disorder and Regan Watters, 21, from Kitts Green Road, Stechford, was charged with murder, violent disorder and assault with intent to rob.
A 39-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released pending further investigation and a 23-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder was released on bail.
