THE Cats Protection Adoption Centre in Birmingham is desperate to find a loving home for lonely moggy Tilly.
The centre, based in nearby Hollywood, rehomes nearly 1,000 cats a year, but this year with the Covid-19 and lockdowns it has been particularly hard to home the cats that need that extra help.
Cats Protection is currently using a ‘hands free’ homing process which has proved to be successful but there is still the odd puss cat that no-one shows interest in.
“Tilly is a prime example,” said Paula Beswick from Cats Protection.
“She has been looking for a home for a while now, we think that she has been over looked as she has renal disease and Is on a special diet (no medication) and also that she has had a thyroidectomy on the one side.
“She is an older cat but she may have many more years left in which to make a new owner very happy.
“The staff at the adoption centre think she is an amazing girl and deserves to be pampered.
“In return she will provide a new owner with wonderful companionship.
“She is a very affectionate girl who is craving to have a quiet home for the remainder of her life.”
