All aboard for the adventures of Pirate Papi from writer Adam

LOCAL author Adam Jones has written a sequel to his highly successful debut children’s book Ninja Nana, which was based on his mum Annette.

This time ‘Pirate Papi’ is based on his dad Ray, and tells of his adventures as a modern day buccaneer, complete with tricorn hat and pirate ship – on wheels.

Like Ninja Nana it is once again in rhyme and illustrated by the stunning work of Charlotte Mercer.

It’s aimed at three to eight-year-olds and features a ‘find the parrot’ on each page.

“All of the children that sent a photo of themselves and did a review of Ninja Nana appear in the book and I’m planning to do the same with Pirate Papi,” said Adam.

“All they have to do is follow @aj1books on Instagram and tag a picture of themselves with the book with #piratepapi and the first 20 will be an extra in ‘Ninja Nana and the Cursed Bandana’ coming out later in the year.”

The book is available on Amazon price £5.99.
