ONE OF the world’s leading experts on the story of the Titanic will be giving a dramatic presentation at the Solihull Photography Society’s next meeting.
Andrew Lound, who will be a special guest at the gathering on January 5, will be talking about the work done on the ship in the midlands and the fate of some of the local passengers.
Although Belfast and Southampton claim the Titanic as their own, more than 70 per cent of the ship’s interior was manufactured in the Midlands.
Residents have been invited along to see Andrew’s special presentation, in a white Star Line uniform and enjoy images, audio and numerous props.
Due to the popularity of this event, visitors must pre-register by sending an e-mail to email@example.com – pre-booked visitors will be charged £5 entry on the door.
