SEQUINS and salsa are set to take over Birmingham as the Strictly Come Dancing Tour later this week.
Fans will have the chance to see newly crowned Strictly winner, Caroline Flack, alongside fellow finalists and series favourites as they strut their stuff at The Barclaycard Arena, after more than 11 million people tuned in before Christmas to watch the nail-biting series finale of the hit BBC One show.
Arena audiences will not only experience all of Strictly’s glitz, glamour and choreography, but also get to watch their favourite dancing couples compete live for votes and the all important feedback of the judges in the arenas.
The new tour judging panel features 2008 Strictly winners Tom Chambers and Camilla Dallerup, together with Craig Revel Horwood, who will also direct the arena tour for the fifth year running.
They will be joined by Strictly favourite and host of BBC2 Strictly sister show ‘It Takes Two’ Zoe Ball, who returns to the glitterball dance floor as host.
However, one finalist will not be joining the line-up.
Just a week before ‘curtain up’, Frankie Bridge announced that she had to withdraw from the hotly anticipated tour on the advice of her doctor after announcing that she is pregnant with her second child.
Replacing her is series 6 runner-up, Rachel Stevens – who will perform with pro dancer, Kevin Clifton.
The show will play at the Birmingham venue on Friday January 16 at 7.30pm, Saturday 17 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm, and Sunday 18 at 1.30pm and 6.30pm.
Tickets are available online at www.barclaycardarena.co.uk or via the box office by calling 0844 338 8000.
