Solihull Moors set to find out National League 2024/25 fixtures very soon

Solihull Editorial 5th Jul, 2024   0

The National League fixtures will be revealed soon and Solihull Moors will be hoping the football calendar is kind to them for the 2024/25 season.

The 2023/24 campaign was an emotional rollercoaster for Solihull as they had a very good season and finished fifth in the division. This was enough to reach the playoffs, and they managed to get to the final. Sadly, they lost on penalties to Bromley. They also lost on penalties at Wembley in the FA Trophy final as well.

Solihull Moors are already planning for next season ahead of the fixtures being released, and they recently confirmed the permanent signing of defender Oliver Tipton from Premier League side Wolves.

They are bolstering their squad and no doubt this is to make sure that they do not go through the woes of last season.

It will be tough to put two devastating Wembley losses behind them, but the National League fixtures being released ahead of the 2024/25 season will definitely help.

The National League fixtures will be released on Wednesday 10th July 2024, so Solihull fans don’t have long to wait until they can see when they will be travelling around the country next season.

Solihull Moors chances of automatic promotion look slim, but they will no doubt be targeting the playoffs next season. The club have a good manager in charge in Andy Whing and he will have no fear in facing any opposition in the National League next season.

Despite this, they will still be hoping that the fixture list sees them avoid clubs like Barnet, Forest Green and Oldham early on, with all three being backed to either win the National League or be promoted.

There are some huge clubs in the National League like Southend and Hartlepool, as well as Yeovil, who aren’t being backed to finish at the top, but could definitely spring a surprise on promotion hopefuls like Solihull Moors.

If the Moors can start the season with some easier fixtures on paper, they can build some momentum early doors and this would massively boost their hopes of pushing for promotion to the EFL.
