STEEL pans were in full force during the re-launch of Solihull bar and restaurant O’Neill’s.
The Poplar Road bar has undergone an extensive re-development and celebrated the transformation with a Rum and Reggae night.
As well as a talented pannist, Friday’s launch night saw fire-eaters turning up the heat in the court-yard while the talents of limbo-dancers also set the bar for a string of upcoming events to liven up the winter nights.
Meanwhile inside, the venue gives way to cosy nooks and crannies, roaring fires and a spacious bar area with plenty of room for a boogie. And a brand new menu has thought of everything from delicious pizza and tapas to a vegan burger – convincing enough to fool even the most insistent carnist, and not forgetting a selection of cocktails to add a touch of glamour to the night.
There’s even an outdoor burger bar offering tempting treats in case you get hungry after the kitchen closes.
The Mediterranean, ‘under-the-sea’ vibes, not only chased away the October chills, but kicked off the new-look venue to a promising start. Search O’Neill’s Solihull on Facebook for more details.
