SOLIHULL schoolchildren enjoying their summer holidays are being invited to take part in a series of free workshops.
As part of the build-up to the Birmingham Hippodrome’s ‘Summer in Southside’ bank holiday event, the theatre is running free craft workshops for local youngsters.
Inspired by the giant interactive artwork ‘Tangle’ which will be appearing outside the theatre, the workshops – led by an experienced arts practitioner, will invite families to create their own tangled artwork.
Complete with free Chinese food samples from the Ming Moon restaurant, Creative Learning Manager Liz Leck promises ‘fun for all the family’.
The free workshops will be held from 10am until 4pm from Wednesday, August 26 until Friday, August 28 at the Birmingham Hippodrome.
