BOYZONE AND WESTLIFE fans are in for a treat when Boyzlife take to the stage at Birmingham’s Hilton Metropole, as part of their world tour.

And can expect feelings of nostalgia as the band showcase their greatest hits.

Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy came up with the idea for a collaboration tour over a pint in Dublin’s Wheelan bar – and will take to the stage on October 23

The boys spent a considerable time working on new projects since both bands split – but have made a comeback to tell the stories behind their smash-hits on a grand tour.

The pop stars said:”It’s unreal to think this was only an idea last Christmas and now it’s forming into a world-wide tour.

“But, we can’t take our foot off the gas just yet as we still have a lot of planning ahead of us.”

Brian McFadden told Observer reporter Aisling Kiely, Birmingham is one of their top places to perform – whilst taking a break from a round on his ‘all-time favourite golf course’, The Belfry.

And added: “We’ve both toured in Birmingham and the crowds have never disappointed – they are always so energetic.

“And it’s home to the best curries too.”

Due to popular demand, additional tickets have been added to the Birmingham show – and fans couldn’t be happier.

Keith said:”It’s really exciting that our Birmingham shows have been so popular.

“We can’t wait to get out on the road and reconnect with our fans, taking a trip down memory lane.”

The pair have declined numerous offers to take part in book deals – and opted for a show instead.

The Westlife member said: “Everyone knows the songs, but very little people know the stories that go with them – the highs and lows”

“Although the band members aren’t joining us on tour – they’ll be making an appearance in the stories that’s for sure.”

The band have no plans to release new music, but are confident that the show will open up new opportunites.
