THE CREATOR of a top dating app has set his sights on his next project – an app for people suffering from mental health issues.
Former Stratford College student Jack Knowles found Temptr last year and since then it has gone from strength to strength and is now believed to be worth some £1billion.
And now the 28 year-old has teamed up with fellow entrepreneur Charlotte Lescott – who invented a fruit-infusing water bottle – and together they are developing a mental health app.
While details about the app have not yet been revealed, Jack said it is set to be released in the next few months and will support those suffering from mental health problems.
Jack told the Observer: “Pretty much all of us will at some point are going to suffer with a mental health condition however minor or severe it maybe, its going to happen, we will all struggle at some point.
“People shouldn’t be so shy to talk about it, I suffer, now it’s time to speak about it, that’s why me and Charlotte are launching an app to deal with this, already there are very well known names supporting it.”
