KNOWLE are calling for support from the local community when the Robins host Nuneaton Town in the FA Vase this weekend.
The Robins marked their return to the competition after 16 years away with a dominant 4-1 win against Coventry Copsewood in first round qualifying last month.
And Knowle’s reward is a home tie against United Counties League Premier Division South league leaders Nuneaton.
The Robins play one level below Nuneaton who reformed in 2024 after withdrawing from the Southern League Premier Central in January last year citing ‘insurmountable challenges in maintaining operations’.
Knowle come into the fixture on a seven-game winning run following a midweek victory at Town’s local rivals Nuneaton Griff.
And club chairman, Stuart Lanyon, has asked for the support of the local community ahead of the FA Vase fixture.
Lanyon said: “This is an historic moment for Knowle FC and the community.
“We’re punching above our weight, but to continue this journey we need the support of local businesses.
“We’ve invested in our facilities, improved our social media presence and built real momentum on the pitch.
“This Nuneaton fixture is the perfect opportunity for businesses to get involved, gain visibility, and back a club that represents the heart of Knowle.”
