LEAGUE leaders Knowle host local rivals Earlswood Town in a highly-anticipated Solihull derby this weekend.
The Robins came from behind to beat Bolehall Swifts 3-1 in their first game of the New Year last time out.
And the Earls also head into the fixture off the back of a victory following an 8-0 demolition of Coventry Alvis in the Coventry Charity Football Cup quarter-finals.
Knowle sit 10 points clear at the top of the Midland Football League Division Two table with the Earls down in 11th place.
And Earlswood recently appointed Jason Pyott as the club’s new manager after suffering three heavy defeats over the festive period.
Knowle’s joint manager, Clive Seeley said: “We do not underestimate Earlswood. They have a change of manager and a few new faces in their side.
“After an 8-0 win at Coventry Alvis in the Coventry Charity Cup they will be buzzing.”
The clubhouse at Hampton Road will be open all afternoon for hot and cold drinks, snacks and alcoholic drinks.
Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions
The game takes place on Saturday, January 25 with kick-off at 2pm at the Draintech Community Stadium.
