SOLIHULL’s Megan McCarron helped Ireland to a gold medal at the ISKA World Championships in Jamaica.
The 18-year-old, who is trained by Paul Gilmore at The Combat Sports, beat Valentina Toria (Ukraine) in the final to become the senior ladies 18-35yrs world champion at the first attempt.
Prior to her appearance in Montego Bay, McCarron was the junior girls world champion.
