SOLIHULL Swimming Club’s under-16’s water polo team are celebrating after winning the Midland Water Polo Youth League.
Solihull claimed this year’s trophy with a 100 per cent winning record after winning all 12 of their matches, scoring 176 goals and conceding just 56 in the process.
The team’s top scorer was Alex Chapman with 58 goals and he wa followed by Finn Nicholas on 43, Aaron Bach who netted 33 times and Gabriel McLaughlin (23).
A special mention must also be made to Cally McLaughlin who had an outstanding season in goal.
In total 18 players were used over the course of the season which started back in March but most appearances apart from the above players were from Ben Creaton, Connor Guard, Krishan Kaushal and Tilly Neal.
