WATER POLO: A HIGHLY successful first season in Division One of the British Water Polo League has seen Solihull men’s water polo team finish in fantastic third position.
Having gained successive promotions in the four seasons since joining the BWPL in Division Five, the team’s main aim was a season of consolidation in the top flight.
However, they have exceeded all expectations finishing in third place ahead of many of the bigger established clubs. All of this has been achieved with a relatively young squad most of whom are in their late teens or early twenties.
Jordan Elliot top the goalscoring charts with 32 goals, with Pete Farkas and Ryan Padbury sitting closely behind on 25.
