Black belts were handed out to father and daughter David and Sofia Browne, Helen Audus Norman, Manohar Lal, Jamie Cartwright, Emaan Khan and Curtis Tapper at the TAGB black belt grading event.

A second Dan black belt was also given to Neil Eaton, with all students having trained for their honours.

The club is run by Master Mark Shuter (6th Dan) and meets on a Tuesday and Thursday evening at Greswold School.

Shuter said: “All the students have worked very hard and it is particularly pleasing to see blacks belts being awarded to three female students and to a  range of age groups.

“At Solihull TKD we pride ourselves on being a friendly club where all ages are welcome.”
