A THUMPING 7-2 victory over Broadway keeps Solihull & Shirley Badminton Club top of the Birmingham League Division One.
John Hudson and Chris Raw were the star performers for Solihull after going through the match undefeated.
The ladies’ second team did not have similar success after finding themselves on the wrong end of a 6-0 defeat against SGN.
In the Solihull League, the combined first team were in superb form after they took the top spot in the first division away from Badminton Bears after beating them by a mere 11 points after the match finished 3-3.
The combined third team were also in action and came away with comfortable 6-0 victory over Activ Sports 2 in the second division.
