Solihull Moors re-sign Kettle and Green as preparations for 2017/18 season continue

FOOTBALL: JOEL Kettle and Kristian Green will remain with Solihull Moors next season after putting pen to paper for the 2017/18 Vanarama National League campaign.

Kettle has agreed a one-year extension to his contract while Green has agreed terms for next season after proving himself as a valuable player in the back four.

Joel joined from Rushall Olympic and made his debut in the 4-4 draw away to Dagenham and Redbridge just before Christmas.

The 26-year-old has formed a strong partnership with skipper Liam Daly in the centre of defence since joining the club.

Meanwhile Kristian Green previously played with Stourbridge Kristian and has quickly settled into life in the top tier on non-league football.

The club has also exercised its option to extend the contract of George Carline who was one of Liam McDonald’s first signings back in November.

George has impressed since moving from Hednesford and proved to be a dynamic attacking midfielder – highlighted by his recent call up to the England C team.

Former Reading and Torquay United midfielder Shep Murombedzi is currently out of contract, but Moors have offered new terms to the fans favourite who has been an integral part of Moors’ success in the National League.
