SOLIHULL Moors have been nominated for the Non-League Community Award by The Football Supporters’ Association.
The winner will be revealed at the FSA Awards ceremony which take place at Nobu in London on Monday, November 14.
Moors are one of four club’s nominated for the award along with Gateshead, Gosport Borough and South Shields.
CEO of the Solihull Moors Foundation, Becci Fox said: “We really are delighted to have been nominated for this award.
“We have a team of dedicated staff, volunteers, fans and partners who give up their time tirelessly each week to support the work of the Solihull Moors Foundation in order to make a difference in our local community and without them this recognition would not be possible.
“We have been able to reach over 2000 people within our community offering support. We look forward to continuing building healthier and happier communities and creating more opportunities that improve the health and quality life of people and communities across Solihull and the surrounding areas.”
Volunteer and founder of Villans Together, Nilesh Chauhan added: “It’s amazing news that Moors have been nominated and recognised for this award.
“I have been working with the club over the last two years, and they have always been open to working with communities and welcoming people from all backgrounds to the club.
“Moors are a club that do not pause on community work but want to continue throughout the year with projects to ensure fans and communities feel they can keep coming back and have a great match day experience.”
