ANOTHER busy weekend for Solihull & Shirley Badminton Club saw the ladies’ second team open their campaign with a win.
The ladies recorded a comfortable 6-0 victory over Birmingham University’s third team in Division Two.
The men’s second team however are still searching for their first win of the season after losing out 5-4 against North Birmingham in the Third Division.
In the Solihull League, the men’s first team came away from Badminton Bears with a comfortable 5-1 victory in the First Division.
The men’s second team also tasted victory after getting the better of North Birmingham’s second team 4-2.
In the Ladies First Division, Solihul’s first team recorded a nail-biting 15-point win over Badminton Bears after the match finished level at 3-3.
