OLTON enjoyed a fantastic weekend of results on the pitch with six teams tasting success and scoring no fewer than 26 goals between them.
In the Investec Conference West league, the ladies’ first team worked hard to gain a 2-1 home win over Swansea.
Player/coach and former Great Britain star Sally Walton bagged a brace as the ladies claimed another three points to move up to second in the table.
The men’s first team were also in action in the National League Conference North and they made easy work of Deeside Ramblers from Chester after claiming a comfortable 9-1 win.
Tom Mallett scored a hat-trick and Ed James scored two goals as Olton moved up to second in their division.
The ladies’ second team who their first game of the season and moved off the bottom of the table after beating Towcester 4-1.
The men’s second team moved up to third in the Midland Premier Division after beating West Bridgford 5-1 away, with Ellis Owen scoring twice.
Jack Capel also scored twice as the men’s third team beat Edgbaston 3-2, while the fourth team beat Barford Tigers 2-1.
