DEFENDER Jordan Piggott is the latest player to sign for Solihull Moors, penning a deal for the 2020/21 campaign with the option of a further year in place.
West Brom academy graduate Piggott arrives at the Moors on the back of a successful season for Halesowen Town, where he featured regularly throughout.
The Yeltz were battling for the title in Southern League Division One Central and made it to the semi-final stage of the FA Trophy prior to the premature curtailment of the season.
Piggott, 21, is another young, exciting addition to the squad with previous experience at Dundee, East Fife, Bangor City and Alvechurch.
He said: “I’m absolutely buzzing to be honest. For me personally I wanted to be back in the full-time game and this is a great opportunity to do so.
“I know Jimmy (Moors manager, Shan) from my West Brom days and I know the coach he is, the aspirations he’s got for himself as well as the club.
“It’s a club going in the right direction and it’s great to be here.”
Shan added: “Jordan comes to us off a very good season with Halesowen Town. Jordan is an academy graduate from WBA, who later signed for Dundee.
“Jordan is a highly competitive central defender and can also operate as a holding midfielder.”
