FOOTBALL: UTILITY man Nortei Nortey has joined Solihull Moors on a permanent basis following a successful loan spell.
The 22-year-old arrived on a one-month loan from fellow National League side Wrexham at the start of December and has impressed during his five appearances for the club.
The ex-Chelsea trainee, who is adept at playing in both defence and midfield, has now become a permanent figure in Liam McDonald’s squad and the Moors boss is looking forward to working with the likeable Londoner.
“Nortei has been excellent since joining us and, given his versatility, he has quickly become an instrumental member of the team,” said McDonald.
“I am now delighted that we’ve managed to secure him on a permanent basis and excited with the opportunity to continue working with him.”
Meanwhile midfielder Eddie Jones has Moors after three months with the club in search for regular first-team football.
