A HUGELY impressive figure in excess of £25,000 has been yielded by The Moors 4s fund-raiser.
Spearheaded by Solihull Moors boss Jimmy Shan, the late-May event raised vital funds for NHS Charities Together.
There were two main donation pages – including Shan’s – and a huge number of generous financial gifts flooded in to support participants who included Darren Carter, Craig Gardner, Gabby Agbonlahor, James Morrison, Stiliyan Petrov, Richard Beale and Dan Ashworth.
The challenge itself was both a physical and mental one as participants ran or walked four miles every four hours for 24 hours.
All donations will go to NHS Charities Together which in recent years has funded major capital projects, pioneering research and medical equipment at hospitals – helping patients access the best possible care when they need it most.
