KNOWLE had a fruitful Bank Holiday weekend as they secured their place in the next round of the Les James Challenge Cup and down local rivals Earlswood in Midland League Division Two.
There was a six-goal thriller in the LJCC clash on Saturday as Knowle drew 3-3 with CT Shush before prevailing 3-1 in the penalty shoot-out.
Callum Ingam, Corrie Powell and Ty Knight bagged the goals for Knowle who will meet either Barnt Green Spartak or GNP Sports in the next round.
Then on Bank Holiday Monday, Knowle enjoyed a 2-0 victory at Earlswood, thanks to first-half goals from Luke Fox and Harry Reece.
Knowle entertain Barnt Green Spartak tomorrow (Saturday).
