KNOWLE & Dorridge remain top of the Birmingham League Premier Division after claiming back-to-back victories over the Bank Holiday weekend.
On Saturday, the reigning champions enjoyed a 34-run success over West Bromwich Dartmouth.
K&D opted to bat after winning the toss and set their Black Country hosts an imposing target of 282-8.
Skipper Sam Reddish top scored with 83 while Shahzeb Raja (4-58) grabbed the lion’s share of the wickets for Dartmouth who were all out for 248 in their reply.
Then on Monday, K&D played host to Shrewsbury and walked away with a 68-run success.
K&D were put into bat after losing the toss and looked in trouble at 98-6.
However, Dominic Harding (75) and Scott Stenning (45) steadied the ship as K&D reached 231 all out in the final over.
Jack Grundy then took 4-17 with the ball to help hustle Shrewsbury out for 163 in their reply.
K&D make the trip to Ombersley on Saturday.
