The 23-year-old, who plays in central defence, received international clearance to take his place on the bench for last Saturday’s 3-2 home victory over Guiseley.

Niate previously played forĀ AS Poissy in the ‘Championnat de France Amateur – Group B’, which is the fourth level of French football and he also had previous spells with Turnhout and Cannes.

In the 2013 pre-season he trialled with Dundee United and during the recent summer recess he also put in a couple of appearances for neighbours Gloucester City and Hampton & Richmond.

Meanwhile, fellow defender Nat Kelly has joined Evo-Stik League Southern Premier DivisionĀ side Redditch United on loan until January and joins up with former Moors striker Darren Byfield.

The 20-year-old, who is a Birmingham City Academy graduate, initially joined the Moors on non-contract terms from Kidderminster Harriers last season.
