THE MAN who helped boost the careers of top internationals such as Tom Croft, Ben Youngs and Dan Cole has joined Old Yardleians as coach.
Dave Cripps is the former Leicester Tigers’ strength and conditioning coach and is helping get the first team squad into shape for the upcoming 2015/16 campaign in the Midlands West 2 (North).
Cripps recently left the Tigers after an eight-year spell with the Aviva Premiership side.
He will be providing two weekly sessions during pre-season and will also be mentoring the ambitions of the first team once a week at his Coalition Performance gym facility in Earlswood.
Old Yardleians chairman, Gary Robinson, said: “This is part of our plan to give players the opportunity to receive Elite level coaching and a friendly environment which will give them the opportunity to flourish and potentially go on to play in the national leagues.”
