SOLIHULL Moors have completed the signing of midfielder Ben Worman from National League rivals Gateshead.
The 23-year-old spent 18 months with Gateshead following a short spell with Irish side Cork City.
Worman started his career at Cambridge United where he became the club’s youngest-ever player at the age of just 16-years-old.
The midfielder made 28 appearances for the club in League One.
Moors head coach, Matt Taylor said: “Ben is another really exciting signing for us.
“We are really pleased to add a midfielder of his quality to the squad.
“It’s been a busy week or two bringing players in and I must say a huge thanks for the support from our chairman as always.
“We feel we are in good shape ahead of a long pre-season and Ben’s arrival along with the other signings adds even more quality to our squad.
“Ben has been very successful at this level and is another player who has been on our radar for a while.
“He is technically very good. He gets around the pitch well and we believe he will be a very good player for this football club.
“Add to that the number of games he has played at his age we are really pleased to have secured his services, and we hope to give him the platform to get even better.”
